Welcome to Cromer Academy

We hope our website will provide you with the information you are looking for about our school.

Cromer Academy is an 11 – 16 Secondary School which became an academy in September 2011. We offer a broad curriculum to provide our pupils with a varied education.

Our commitment is to provide the best learning environment for all our learners. We recognise that every person is unique, and our staff work hard with all students to provide the most effective learning experience.

We set ourselves high standards and challenge our students to aspire to be the best that they can be.

We achieve this through our partnerships within the local community – our cluster schools, FE colleges, training providers and employers, parents and volunteer groups – all of whom contribute towards each student’s rich and varied learning experiences.

As the Academy grows it will provide an exciting and applied learning experience relevant for the 21st century world of work, access to a wide range of courses and the best technology.

Teaching at the school is effective because it engages students’ interest and attention. Lessons are well planned and organised and students appreciate and respond to this by working hard to learn well.
